...because I'll embarass all the non art people.

I've been following ~Torenchiko-to to her ceramics class the past week since I honestly have nothing better to do on those days, and I like poking around with clay. I don't think there'll be space for me to join, but I think the teacher's pretty chill with non-enrolled people.

I did in fact do that little mini bust with one hand since my left hand had a bandaid on it to cover a blister I got while making rice pudding and I didn't feel like peeling it off. So I whipped up this little bust plus a little hand to match in the span of about 2.5 hours.
I have pictures of it (in case I needed to smash it down at the end of the class) - might download 'em and post it in scraps eventually.

Lol, Im in a 6 hour ceramics class on Fridays and I am like, "why do my cups look so sexual." D:

My teacher said she had no explanation why. So I took a pony roller and made nice indents so not its not so phallic.

Everyone else was all, "My pot is a plate... a really ugly plate." And you were there all "La la la, sparkle sparkle, OH HAY I THINK I'LL MAKE A BUST OF SOMEONE THAT LOOKS SLIGHTLY LIKE SIMON PEGG." And then you did.

Ceramics class is going to be pretty damn lulzy if we keep in this trend of me being all "IDK STEGOSAURUS" and you making sparkly artsy anatomy studies in about two hours time.

Oh lol. A problem I can honestly say I've never had. Quite the opposite - I'm the chick sitting in the back trying to get my anonymous lumpy sculpture to stand up straight and making everyone else feel superior.

I ACTUALLY SAID DANIEL CRAIG, BUT SIMON PEGG WORKS TOO. The both look the same. *headtilt*

I hope she doesn't mind me making them...I've been kinda enjoy making little busts and the sort - it reinforces what I'm doing wrong or right with my drawings and style. And if need it I can use them as references for hard angles of faces and the sort that I can't get right with my brain thought.

They do, too... which explains why I thought Simon Pegg when you said Daniel Craig.

...Simon Pegg is liek a pastier Daniel Craig... :o

I think she'll be chill with it... and busts are super fun, I'll prolly join you in busting when I finish projects ahead of time. I made a geisha girl bust in high school ceramics and was so damn surprised that it didn't turn out hideous that I want to try again.
