Huaaaahhhh...nothing much to say...
Although I will have to tell all the other Southern Californians to
SUCK IT UP cuz a 5.4 was
NOTHING compared to the 6.5 up in my area five years ago, and yet it hardly made world headlines since it wasn't in a "heavily populated area" like LA. BUT TWO PEOPLE DIED OMFG GIT IN THE CAR.
YOU LIVE IN CALIFORNIA.
EXPECT.
EARTHQUAKES.
...AND FOREST FIRES.
Speaking of which, I really should go to my doctor to get an inhaler...my subtle asthma has flared up and I sometimes can't sleep since my throat is so tight, and sleeping certain ways causes it to almost close up. 8|
Tempted to redo journal...different colours are a must...

Drink coffee - do stupid things faster and with more energy!
They were showing pics of the "damage" in LA on TV and I was all... What? That's nothing. Shit fell off shelves. A giant sulphuric hole did not open up in your library parking lot, so quitcher bitchin, Los Angeles.

Memo: Plz to be dying in a fire now.
The earthquake was ~15 seconds long where I was (Ventura, about 80 miles from the epicentre), no damage, no deaths...and yet the resulting torrent of calls/texts brought down all forms of normal/cellular phones for a good 6 hours.
All that happened was where I was is some shit shaked about and we lost power for a few seconds. Big fucking deal.
