Today's journal is brought to by almost seven straight hours of cutting fabric on inadequate table surface height and excessive time doing so.
Now I'm on some sweet meds that I take twice a day and have so far led to interesting things with my migraine meds - mainly the sensation of vertigo, as well as icing my wrist/elbow/shoulder, but at least I'll be taking a week off of my unpaid help at my aunt's shop. That lady, as nice as she can be, expects you to be working every single second you're on. And to think she gets less sleep and eats less than me. She keeps on criticizing me for "buying so many groceries". Uh...I'm sorry I try and eat three moreorless rounded meals a day? I'd eat more but she's kinda got inadequate cooking supplies...the box of pasta in my suitcase is a little lonesome.
Doc at the quicky med center gave me a small perscrip for some Vicodin if my migraine meds continue to not work. ~Torenchiko-to said I'd become House in no time with all my meds.
Went to a Fourth of July festival in my aunt's city today. Ate a burger with some sauteed onions on it, got a piece of peach pie, bought these absolutely amazing wooden pens, and went to a library book sale where I scored some pretty sweet things. I was psyched by what I found there.
Devious Comments
I pulled something of the same kind of fabric-cutting stunt today at werk... we were un-busy. Except instead of wrist pains I now have bruises on my hips where they hit the table.
..and seriously I was thinking about the table height at your work and it does not make sense to me. I mean, half our countertops weren't even made for a fabric store and they're perfect height. Well, actually the genuine fabric table is better suited for cutting than the others, but they're still not elbow-height. IDK.
